Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room I received was nice, but not what I expected based on my reservation for a Bay view room. The service was a mix of cheerful and accommodating interactions from the Valet, but there was also a condescending encounter. The location was convenient for visiting Moody Gardens and other attractions in Galveston, although it could use a refresh. The dining was a bit slow, and I missed having breakfast included. However, the tram stop on the property was useful.
Upon entering the hotel, I was met with a strong bleach smell in the rooms, which was very unpleasant. However, the view of the pyramids and the pool from some of the rooms was stunning. Overall, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, providing a relaxing stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was convenient to many attractions in Galveston, with a beachfront property and easy access to the Moody Gardens Pyramids. The rooms were plain and simple but clean, offering a wonderful view of the water and the pyramids. However, the isolated location felt a bit creepy at night. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were helpful with recommendations and services, making my stay pleasant. The dining experience was beautiful and large, but the overpriced food did not meet expectations, taking longer than promised to be delivered. While the facilities had some positive aspects, like a littered pool area with food and drinks nearby, there were also some downsides that affected my overall impression of the hotel.
